Mrs Theresa Tillett is the matriarch of a black family, no easy feat over the years.

Wife to her husband Byron of over 20 years, Mother to 2 adult children & Grandmother to 2 growing grandsons. FurMom to 2 dogs & 2 cats.

Prior to her marriage, she was a single mother raising her children here in Hartford County CT. Theresa understands what it is like to be a working single mother trying to stay off welfare as much as possible, but using the services when needed in between jobs. She understands how difficult it can be to get out from the chains of poverty & the struggle to stay out.

“Family First” is her motto & how she was raised growing up on a farm in NY surrounded literally by her grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins on the family farm compound. Raised to respect her elders & with work ethics she looks at life in the slightly different perspective of a farmer in modern times.
