Tomorrow is Election Day Nov 7th 2017

It has been a long campaign season and tomorrow it will end when the polls open at 6am until they close at 8pm and the votes are counted.

2morrow is election day remember vote

Met many people in Hartford, Bloomfield and Windsor as well as others from across Connecticut. I enjoy meeting people in the state whether they are in my district or in another persons district where I am helping.

Lot’s of discussions about harmful regulations and the oppressive taxes and what can or should be done to fix our state and our cities and our towns.

Tomorrow is The Day why so many people put in many hours of hard work and I thank each and every one of you that have worked to educate the people about the candidates that are running for office.

Tomorrow is Election Day 2017 and it is the day where we chose the direction of the country, the state and our cities and towns.

The choices are quite distinct to choose to go down the same path towards the destruction of our nation with old socialist / communist policies that have never worked; or we can chose to go in a new direction and turn towards policies and principles that will #MakeWindsorCTGreatAgain .#MakeCTGreatAgain and #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

We will choose to Vote for new Mayors and City-Town Councilors to represent us at the city halls and choosing the direction of our schools with the Board of Ed candidates.

I hope and pray that each of you WILL Get Out To VOTE Row B

Then when you get out in the parking lot that you call those in your household to remind them to get out to vote if they have not voted yet.

CT is in need of a change of direction, we need your help in making that change happen.

If you have a couple of hours to volunteer please give a call; we can use any and all assistance tomorrow.

We need people out on locations through out the state & we have things for people who are housebound to be able to assist as well.

The only way that we can have a #FreshNewStart is if we Vote Out Incumbents that are career politicians who are raising our taxes and wasting our money on special projects for their crony corporate friends…

To get out of this mess we need New People with New Ideas and who know what it is like to live under the oppressive rules and regulations.

#SharingIsCaring so please share this post on all of your social media networks

Taxation Is Theft?

I’m not happy with taxes increasing like most people who have to pay them; but when does it become THEFT vs Necessity as a Part of living in a civilized society?

want vs need man balancing

Our elected officials seem to have a serious problem telling the difference between what is a WANT and what is a NEED for the state of CT…

This seems to be an extremely painful problem for our families who have to suffer under the increasing taxes to pay for all of the Fun but Not Needed Wants that the democrats want to keep imposing upon us

A big part of our budget problem in CT are all of the special projects that fall in the “Fun BUT… It’s Only a WANT” category like Pipedream Fancy “Tunnels Under the River”, Fancy Busway Bus Stops for almost empty buses that create traffic jams downtown while doing little to relieve the traffic problems that we were told they would do all to great expense to our families…

So now our poorest children will be punished because their lunches, sodas and the grocery bags that their parents use to bring home the groceries will have added taxes on them to cover the subsidies that the governor has given out to his special friends & the projects that they want to force upon us.

Trump Affect in CT

Well the elections are over & Donald Trump has won the popular vote. The electoral college will make in official in Dec.  The inauguration balls will begin on January 20th 2017 after he is sworn in. Word on the internet is that there will be protests planned for that day )0;}

There are people who are planning “DeploraBalls” across the nation since most of us can’t make it down to DC to attend any of the official fancy balls to celebrate. Haven’t heard of any Balls in CT yet but I’m wondering if they will plan one? Would you attend a “DeploraBall” event if one was held in CT?

CT is in a bit of a shock as 2 worlds are colliding – CT Democrats & the liberal followers are crying, angry & in shock at the loss of seats in the general assembly; meanwhile CT GOP is celebrating the wins in the state & that the White House is now safely in the hands of the Republican Party.

This year in spite of the cheating & lying by the CT Democrats the voters in CT were able to make some wins in the general assembly to start turning the state back onto the road to prosperity once more. Your Votes Counted! In fact so much that there were at least 2 races that went to automatic recounts.button Your Vote Counts round RWB-Stars

While Trump was unable to win in CT with it’s big pockets of #NeverTrumpers that turned former towns from 2012 Red to Blue in 2016, there were several towns that flipped this year from 2012 Blue to Red in 2016.

The towns flipping from Blue to RED blindsided the democrats who are used to ruling over CT as if they are kings & queens over peasants.  There hasn’t been equality in the state senate since the 1800s is what I’ve heard?

The Democrat Activist groups are already meeting & working to take back the state ground they lost & have stated that they plan to keep the anger – a picture of the NoWCT chapter posted 3 days after the election.

Winter Storm Faith Feb 2015

What a difference a year makes…

Last year in Jan – Feb 2015 we were hit with more snow than we wanted.

Our CT Tradition of naming winter storms had us all the way up to the letter F.

This year so far in 2016 we only have had 1 named winter storm. For the most part not much snow or even traffic problems for CT because #WinterStormAnna came on a weekend. While those who love to ski are complaining about the lack of snow, personally I do not mind because I don’t care for cold weather. I enjoy Spring, Summer & Fall for their colors & warm sunny days.

Outside of CT the nation was using the name that the weather channel had given her & they called Winter Storm Anna the next name on their storm list which was Jonas.

Anna/Jonas put a hurting on the southern states & then just a slap on the rump for CT. Yes after a snow filled winter of 2015 I’m enjoying this year which has been mostly rain.

With all of the extra taxes that Malloy & his henchmen at the capitol who locked the republicans out of the budget room have heaped upon us, saving on heating oil due to the warmer winter this season helps out the home budget.

Windsor Budget – Vote NO Tomorrow

Reminder Get Out & Vote NO on the Budget Tomorrow

Polls Open at 6am & Close at 8pm

#YourVoteIsYourVoice – #VoteNo

#SayNoNewTaxes – there is a lot of questionable BoE items needing transparency & the democrats in charge of the BoE aren’t being forthcoming about all the numbers nor looking for cost saving measures that can be options for our citizens – the BoE budget is 2/3rds of the town’s total budget & it needs to be better managed, we’ve had too much vagueness in their numbers & animosity by the BoE leadership when being questioned about how they plan to spend our families money

#SaveWindsorPuppies – Save our Windsor Animal Control Shelter the democrats are forcing our current “dog pound” to be destroyed by their corporate friends who they have given the tax breaks to build luxury mixed use apartments (think like Hartford office & stores downstairs & apartments on top commercial buildings) so the rich get rid of our puppies who have gotten lost & found by our animal control officers & now instead of building a new shelter the democrats who obviously do not like dogs are trying to send our Windsor Puppies out of town to possibly kill shelters #DemocratsHatePuppies

TAX on back of bent over man

#SaveTeamParagon – our 18 year olds need to vote to save their classmates Robotics Program which the democrats will displace when they try to take over the old Roger Wolcott school which was closed due to students leaving the district – our teens deserve to have the Robotics Team in a space where they can continue to grow in learning as well as experiencing successes as they compete #DemocratsHateRobots

If you are RICH you’ll have no problem going along with the democrat bullies who have been steadily increasing our taxes every year but if you are part of the lower income brackets that are struggling under the weight of the excesses & wasteful spending that the democrats who are running Windsor are jamming down our throats then #VoteNo

Windsor Budget Vote May 12th

Windsor Voters it is time once again to get your paper & pencil & sit down & figure out how much more this year your family can afford to spend paying for the high & inflated budget which has been put in front of us to pay with another tax increase on our property taxes…
Keep in mind that our state officials are also planning to increase our income taxes & adding taxes on items not previously taxed, in addition to raising the taxes on items we’ve got to pay for our gas, cigarettes, & wine

Many do not have the ability to attend the town hall meetings on a regular basis due to family & work obligations, but were you aware that even if you do not get cable tv into your home you can watch many of our town hall meetings online?

Below is a clip of the last portion of the Windsor Town Council Meeting that was held on April 27th 2015 from the town website.
Clicking the link will open the video in a new window for you to see the last 15 or so minutes of the 2+hours that took place.

Shop Small Saturdays 2015

Shop Small Saturday is normally the day after Black Friday

I think to help our Mom & Pop Shops we need to not shop just the 1 day

To help our economy in CT let’s Buy Local & Buy American Made.

Shop Small Saturday

I know sometimes it’s faster & cheaper to run into a big box store, but there are many small shops that are reasonably priced & you can see if they are open to the lost art of haggling & get a better deal.

With some planning we can at least buy gifts for holiday giving from our local family owned businesses & crafts people in the state.

We can also buy more of our food locally at family farms. We have several pick your own farms in CT so you know it’s fresh since you & the family spent some fun family time picking the fruits.

So as we start wrapping up the school year & get ready for summer, let’s shop small CT. I hope that you’ll share the small shops that you find good deals & great services at with us.
