This is a very good thing for those who missed the annual free dental clinic last weekend that was difficult for some families to get to with the distance.
Dental schools & nursing schools should be as part of their training be doing quarterly at least clinics for our families that can’t afford big medical bills. The cost of such clinics could be offset by having sliding fee scale for a copay…
Insurance is not healthcare & neither is a website – clinics like these do more to help poor working families & is where our tax dollars should be focused upon.
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Goodwin College is hosting a free dental clinic for children across the greater Hartford area Wednesday.
The clinic is past of the American Dental Association’s “Give Kids a Smile” program. The clinic will include free dental cleanings, fluoride, dental exams, and radiographs (x-rays), and dental referrals (if needed) to children under the age of 18. There is no cost to parents of any kind.
There are approximately 50 appointments available. Interested parents should contact the clinic at 860-218-1800 to ensure there is space for their child.
